CLC Academy Marketplace Terms
Now inviting pilot trainers. Courses list after Academy review.
These terms describe the planned pilot marketplace. Course listings and automatic trainer payouts are pending marketplace launch.
How the marketplace works
Trainers apply and sign the Trainer Agreement. The Academy reviews every course before listing. After approval and marketplace launch, courses list for students to buy, and trainers are paid automatically.
The money split
The trainer receives 85% of each sale and the Academy keeps a 15% platform fee. Stripe processing is deducted from the trainer share. The Academy covers per-account and payout fees.
Trainer responsibilities
Trainers must be real people using real names, genuinely hold every credential claimed, publish only their own content, and provide accurate course descriptions. Food-safety content must reflect current code and practice.
Academy responsibilities
The Academy operates the marketplace, reviews every course before listing, and pays trainers on time.
Refunds
Students receive a full refund within 7 days of purchase if under 25% of the course has been completed. The trainer/Academy split is reversed on a refunded sale.
Removal and termination
False credentials or stolen content result in immediate removal. Otherwise, removal or termination requires 30 days notice.
